Playground
Our state-of-the-art playground was designed and installed by Landscape Structures, recognized as one of the top playground companies in the country. It is the only playground of its kind in Atlanta.
It was thoughtfully designed to include multiple pieces of developmentally beneficial motion equipment.
Spinning, rotating and other forms of motion are core movements that engage our vestibular system, which helps build awareness of how our bodies move through space and against gravity.
Your leashed pets are welcome at the park but prohibited within the playground. Thank you for your cooperation.
Pavilions
LNCP has two beautiful pavilions at opposite ends of the park providing shaded areas to eat and relax. The pavilions may be reserved through the City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation at parkscustomerservice@atlantaga.gov or by calling (404) 546-6813.
If not reserved, the pavilions are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Exercise Area & Trail
Enjoy the 1/4 mile loop that meanders across Little Nancy Creek. Test your physical fitness at the multi-station exercise area tucked into the tree canopy behind playground area at the southwest corner of the park.
Community Garden
Located next to the Pavilion just off Peachtree Dunwoody Road, the Community Garden provides a gracious welcome to Little Nancy Creek Park. Developed in 2008, the garden produces spring, summer and fall crops as well as a variety of seasonal flowers.
Thanks to the award of a 2019 Park Pride Small Change Matching Grant, plot borders were replaced, and new soil and amendments were provided to keep common walkways and garden borders are kept weed free.
Although currently all 21 plots are spoken for, you may join the wait list. Gardeners pay a yearly fee of $100 per year plus $1 per square foot of plot space. Please contact Lewis Redd if you are interested in a plot or would like further information.
